National Exchange Club President Floyd Culver of Defiance, Ohio, issued a statement asserting support for President Obama’s call to Americans to serve others through community service, according to John Kruse, editor of the Exchange Club of Newport Harbor’s Spindriff.

“The National Exchange Club has proudly, humbly and quietly served our fellow Americans for nearly 100 years,” Culver said. “Last year alone, Exchange members gave more than 155,000 volunteer hours and more than $8 million to local communities across this great country.”

Exchange has been serving, helping and providing for American and America Alone for almost 100 years and we welcome anyone who wishes to join our forces.”
