SURFING LAGUNA: Surf the net to ride waves

Are you on Facebook? Do you tweet on Twitter? Those are questions not uttered by our forefathers but are very much a part of today’s Internet vocabulary. Let’s take a level-one approach to gleaning surf info and the web this week as we look at some helpful sites for the rest of us.

Surf websites 101:

Surf reports and weather conditions: surfline.com

Surf industry business: shop-eat-surf.com

Getting involved with cleanups and other activities: surfrider.org

Family friendly surf films and such: walkingonwater.org

U.S. surf team information: Surfingamerica.org. (Laguna resident Taylor Pitz is a member of this elite team.)

In addition to the above, there are surf travel logs, surfing dogs and endless blogs. Hold that thought, I just looked out front, there’s waves!
