The white label

Music enthusiasts or simply anyone looking for a cool graphic tee should know about Costa Mesa-based Ubiquity Recordings. Orange County natives Jodi and Michael McFadin founded Ubiquity Records in San Francisco nearly 20 years ago.

They also produce a collection of T-shirts (available online) inspired by music, sunny California, and even funny conversations they have in their Costa Mesa offices. Each T-shirt includes a hangtag with a download code redeemable at iTunes for five free tracks from Ubiquity’s favorite albums and exclusives from upcoming releases.

Ubiquity’s T-shirts are always made in the USA. And for spring Ubiquity is releasing a new line of 100% organic cotton tees aptly named White Label, referring to the hard-to-come-by, white-label albums originally handed out to VIP disc jockeys to test prior to the official releases.

Ubiquity Recordings Inc. is at 1010 W. 17th St., Costa Mesa. For more, call (949) 764-9012 or go to www.ubiquityrecords.com.
