Laguna had its season come to an end Feb. 18 in Corona, where top-ranked Centennial scored a 2-0 first-round victory over the Breakers in Division III action.

Laguna, the Orange Coast League’s third-place representative, began the postseason on Feb. 17 by defeating visiting Artesia in overtime, 2-1, in wild-card play.

The Breakers were playing in the postseason for the first time since 2000 and only the fifth time in the 27-year history of the program.
