COSTA MESA — Freshman designated hitter Scott Stidham smacked a three-run home run in the eighth inning to lead the Pirates to the Orange Empire Conference win Tuesday.

Sophomore Ryan Sheeks went two for four with a double. Beck Wheeler, Scott Hong and D.J. Arellano also had two hits each for OCC (10-8, 1-2 in conference). Riverside dropped to 10-8, 1-2.
