Team beats three local schools on quiz game

A team of scholars from Corona del Mar High School beat out several other Orange County high schools to win first place in a team quiz game hosted by the World Affairs Council of Orange County.

The Academic WorldQuest quiz, which took place over the weekend at Chapman University, focused on international affairs including current events, world leaders, geography, recent history and world flags.

Corona del Mar beat out Estancia High School, Katella High School and Mission Viejo High School to win the cash prize.

Winning team members were David Broekelschen, Rupen Dajee, Michelle Marshall and Matt Steinberg.
