California Property Tax Savers, an online service provider which helps California homeowners quickly and accurately assess the value of their homes and determine whether or not they are eligible for a property tax reduction, will hold two complimentary educational workshops on Thursday, March 12. The first meeting will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. the second will follow from 7:00-8 p.m. The free workshops will be held at First American Corporation, located at 5 First American Way, Santa Ana, 92707.

Many Californians, especially those who bought their homes at the height of the real estate market between 2003 and 2007, are paying higher property taxes then they should. This free educational workshop will guide homeowners in making the right decisions during the property tax appeal process. CA Property Tax Savers founders Cornell Beans and Scott Daniel will share with attendees:

· Homeowner rights under Proposition 8: How and when to file for a property tax reduction.

· An overview of both the informal and formal appeals process: how to know which is right for you.
