Multiple cities and water agencies to hold forum

Water, or the lack thereof, has been a hot topic lately. The rising costs of water and constrained imported supplies make it imperative that we use our limited resources more efficiently. It is possible for Homeowners’ Associations (HOA) to save water, lower water bills, reduce runoff, and have a beautiful landscape. HOAs are invited to find out how by attending the H2O FOR HOAs WATER FORUM (Forum) on March 26, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This Forum is offered at no cost.

In Orange County, 50-60% of our water is used for landscape irrigation and much is wasted, as we see it run off sidewalks and into the gutter. The Forum is a custom workshop designed specifically for HOAs to learn how to save water, save money, and reduce irrigation runoff from the HOA’s property.

Vendors will showcase some of the products that qualify for rebates and representatives from local agencies and cities will be present to answer questions. Participants will receive a complimentary lunch, presentations, demonstrations, information, and water saving items to take away.
