LONG BEACH — Jake Knapp finished third with a one-over round of 73 to lead Estancia High to a third-place finish at the 12-team event Monday.

Ryan Knapp (77) also broke 80 for the Eagles, whose four-player score of 316 was topped by Peninsula (301) and Fountain Valley (310).

Ryan Burns (82) and Storm Hagen (82) also scored for Coach Art Perry’s Eagles.

ALISO VIEJO — Sophomore Marcus Kiel shot one-under-par 36 to pace the Sailors in the nonleague match Monday at Aliso Viejo Country Club.

Zach Eddy, Travis Russell and Mychael Clark all shot 40, while Erickson Klein carded a 41 to help Newport Harbor improve to 6-2-1.

CORONA DEL MAR — Junior Jordan Crone had three goals, while Noah Molnar, Otis Mitchell and Reed Wallace added two apiece for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League opener Monday at home.

Corona del Mar, which blanked the Vaqueros into the third quarter, improved to 4-0, 1-0 in league.

IRVINE — Senior Adriane Knezevic had five goals to pace the winners Monday in the Pacific Coast League opener at Irvine High.

Freshman Gabby Smith (three assists), junior Hillary Bush (two assists), and senior Jennifer Francis all had two goals each for the Sea Kings (4-1, 1-0 in league).

Corona del Mar plays host to Laguna Hills Wednesday.
