Art for diabetes

Here’s an art exhibit I can’t wait to see. From 6 to 11 tonight Type One Clothing and the Light Gallery in Costa Mesa, host an art exhibition, entitled “Pre-Existing Condition.”

This show is an artist’s perspective of Type-1 diabetes. All participating artists are affected or connected to diabetes.

Participating artists include Shepard Fairey, zoey stevens, Demar Douglas, Sean Brannan, Big Toe, Vincent Burkhead, Thomas J Novy, Christina Christos, David Stoupakis, Anna Impullitti, Andreina Davila, Alone One, MarkGeorge, the Molten Brothers.

Proceeds from “Pre-Existing Condition” sales will go to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation that raises funds for research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes. In celebration of the 20th anniversary and relocation, Champagnes Deli & Grill is rolling back the price of its most popular item since 1989, the house-roasted turkey breast deli sandwich served on fresh-baked, organic bread to its original price of $3.95 March 26 through 29.

Champagnes now offers a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, as well as patio dining. Champagnes offers the same great food that has made this restaurant a local favorite, along with a variety of new items including oven-roasted and homemade specialties.
