A Laguna Niguel woman posted $20,000 in bail Tuesday afternoon after being sought by police on suspicion of using false credit card information to obtain breast implants and liposuction from a Huntington Beach plastic surgery center.
Police said Yvonne Jean Pampellonne, 30, opened a line of credit using another person’s personal information, then provided a false name and personal information to obtain cosmetic surgery from a doctor at the Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery on Sept. 4.
The center gave Pampellone a breast-implant exchange, meaning that they removed the implants she had in exchange for a different set, usually larger or smaller. Pampellone never showed up for any of her follow-up appointments, police said. The surgical center lost more than $12,000, police said.
The surgical center’s employees identified the woman using a photographic lineup, police said.
Pampellone was charged March 19 with second-degree commercial burglary, grand theft and identity theft. A $20,000 warrant was issued for her arrest until she posted bail Tuesday afternoon.
Over the past several years, she has pleaded guilty or been found guilty of several driving violations, including driving without a license, insurance or registration; speeding; not stopping at a red light or stop sign; and driving on a suspended license.
