RiechesBaird, a brand creation and development firm that specializes in building the value of B2B companies, has announced its creative director and vice president, Ewan Pidgeon of Newport Beach, has been selected to judge the upcoming Business Marketing Association’s (BMA) ACE Awards in New York. Hailed as “one of the industry’s best creative awards” by The New York Times, the awards recognize the year’s top creative campaigns and executions, the professionals who conceive them, and the agencies and clients who have successfully elevated brands and driven demand.

“Each year for the past 27 years the B2B ACE Awards receives entries from advertising agencies and advertisers around the world,” said Ned Clausen, chairman of the ACE Awards. “The ACE Committee therefore wishes to ensure that the best are judged by the best. We select judges who themselves have demonstrated the highest caliber of advertising/marketing achievement. This year’s judges are among the most perceptive talents in the B2B advertising profession.”

Pidgeon and the other judges will conduct the first round of evaluation online, followed by a trip to New York where they will convene at The Wall Street Journal on April 30 to select the winners.

The recipient of several ACE awards in the past himself, Pidgeon has created high-profile campaigns for some of the most recognized brands on the planet, including Avis, British Airways, Ford, Panasonic, Jim Beam and Lever Rexona. During his 24 years in advertising and branding, Pidgeon has gained experience across most industry sectors in both the consumer and B2B categories. Today, Pidgeon oversees the entire creative staff at RiechesBaird, leading the origination of strong, effective work and utilizing his esteemed expertise in art direction to create a distinctive look for each client. With the ability to recognize brand longevity and the needs of the media, he brings a global perspective to RiechesBaird and its creative work.
