Sidney DeAngelis

Sidney DeAngelis, a long-time resident of Laguna Beach,

died on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the age of 83. He is

survived by his wife, Priscilla, daughter Barbara, sons Jason

and Michael, and granddaughters Rachel and Rebecca.

Sidney was born and raised in Philadelphia. He was an

attorney and, after retiring from the practice of law, was a

writer of books and screenplays. He was often seen at Café

Zinc in Laguna with his beloved dog, Bacardi.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 25, at

Pacific View Memorial Park. Those who would like to share

a memory or a lemon square may gather at 1:30 p.m. on

Saturday, April 4th at Café Zinc for an informal celebration

of Sidney’s life.
