The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa is donating 600 televisions to the families of local 1st Battalion, 1st Marines and 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines who are deployed in Iraq.

“Our enthusiasm and commitment toward community and giving back are key elements in the philosophy of Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa staff,” says Cheryl Phelps, the resort’s general manager. “A heart for people is at the core of what we do here at the resort.”

The Robert Mayer Corp. worked for the resort with the Mariners Military Support Ministry and the city of Newport Beach, which have adopted the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine and 1st Battalion, 1st Marine. They conduct fundraising and collect goods and services for the Marines and their families.
