Sanitation district to line sewer pipe, add manholes

The Orange County Sanitation District has begun rehabilitating a 54-inch-wide sewer line below the beach parking lot between First Street and Beach Boulevard, the state beach parking lot south of Beach Boulevard and on First Street between Pacific Coast Highway and Walnut Avenue.

The pipe will be lined and three manholes will be added. Construction work on Saturdays will be discontinued on or after the Memorial Day holiday weekend; the project’s estimated completion is in July.
