Great pitching by Ricky Masters, Trevor Windisch and Chase Foreman kept the game tight and Noah Muta made a diving catch that led to a double play. Bees 5, Muckdogs 3: The previously undefeated Muckdogs were knocked off by the Bees. Solid pitching from the Bees’ Blake Richards and Brian Smith held the Muckdogs to their lowest runs in a game this season. Timely doubles by Dylon Stratton and Eric Anderson of the Bees helped build a three-run cushion going into the fifth inning. Jose Gallo of the Muckdogs made an excellent grab at shortstop of a hard line drive to save a run, end an inning and keep the game close.

Express 8, Rivercats 7: The Rivercats took the early lead and held it until the fifth inning, when the Express bats came alive and scored three runs, led by Brad Vega’s two-run double to tie the game.
