SABINA

Sabina’s a cute black-and-white 11-month-old kitten with a black button nose who does what caregiver Jan Chase’s family calls the “Obama Bump.” (She bumps her head against your hand and purrs).

Sabina is affectionate, playful and loves to rest on the window sill to watch the birds, according to her caregivers at the Community Animal Network. She’s best suited for a home without other pets.

You can meet Sabina and other pets from noon to 4 p.m. at the network’s adoptions at Fashion Island, or you can find out more at animalnetwork.org.

Unfortunately, the network needs more donations to cover the costs of past rescues and won’t be able to rescue other animals until then.
