UCI Extension and Osher present “Strokes and Their Prevention”
University of California, Irvine Extension, along with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), join together to present “Strokes and Their Prevention’” featuring Dr. Vivek Jain, Asst. Clinical Professor at UCI Medical School. Dr. Jain will discuss the signs and symptoms of potential strokes and provide key prevention tips. The luncheon is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, April 15 at 11:15 a.m. on the UCI campus at the UClub McCulloch Library.
OLLI at UCI is a dynamic group of seasoned adults—both retired and semi-retired—who enjoy literature, history, science, the arts and travel. OLLI’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for mature adults by promoting intellectual growth and unique educational experiences in an environment of social interaction.
