Police seeking tips on stabbing

Huntington Beach police are seeking public assistance regarding the unsolved stabbing of a 15-year-old boy the evening of April 10 near the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort.

The victim, who is now in good condition, was near the southeast corner of Huntington Street at Pacific Coast Highway at about 9:30 p.m. when he was attacked by the unknown suspect; police are uncertain which direction the suspect fled.

The boy was transported to UCI Medical Center and is doing well.

The suspect is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon. Anyone with information on the suspect, or who may have witnessed the incident, is asked to call the Huntington Beach Police Department hotline at (714) 375-5066.
