Meeting to discuss how to help Ugandan children

The Holy Spirit Catholic Church high school youth ministry has organized a “Rescue Plan” to teach members of the local community about the plight of Northern Ugandan children who have been abducted and forced into being child soldiers. Their story has been made into a popular documentary, “Invisible Children.”

The group will hold an information session from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday in the church’s Doyle Hall, 17270 Ward St., Fountain Valley, to teach how local people can get involved in rescuing the children.

For more information on the meeting, call (714) 350-5707 or e-mail youthministry@hsccfv.org.
