Helen Jean Quinn

Loving mother, supportive wife, and good friend to many,

Helen Jean passed away April 16, 2009, a week after her 88th

birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene

Quinn and her sister Joyce Elken. Jean prided herself

for being a buyer for Macy’s for many years. She was a past

president of the Assistance League of Newport Beach. Surviving

her are her three children, Patricia Bathen (Eric Bathen),

James Quinn and John Quinn (Kathryn Inouye), and her

eight grandchildren: Heather, Hollis, Colleen, Mary, Noelle,

Connor, Megan and Matthew.

Friends are invited to Mass at St. John Vianney on Friday,

April 24 at 10 am. Reception follows at Patricia Bathen’s

house.
