Knights 15, MuckDogs 5: Ricky Masters pitched two scoreless innings for the Knights, while Jake Legg also pitched two scoreless innings and had four runs batted in. Chase Foreman closed it out with one scoreless inning. Booming doubles came at the right time from Michael Baker, Noah Muta, Michael Primich and Trevor Windisch.

Bats 6, Sidewinders 4: The Sidewinders took advantage of a few fielding errors and rallied for 3 runs in the top half of the first. The Bats chipped away for one in the first, tied it up after two and took the lead for good in the third.

Brian Baca was the offensive power for the Bats, going two for two with two doubles and four RBIs. Brandon Nicholson went two for two with a double and RBI. Dylan Palmer reached safely with a long single off the center-field fence. Derek Chumacero, Landen Hill and Devin Lacy all singled to move the Bats around the bases. Noah Willis pitched 2 2/3 innings, striking out five Sidewinders.

For the Sidewinders, Jack Fultz and Jake Cavazos both went two for three and Steven Kotkovsky reached safely twice on a hard-hit double and fielder’s choice. Max Kaplan and Jack MacDowell each had singles.

Express 9, Bees 5: Grant Rockefeller went two for three with two RBIs for the Express, Ryo Takada, Brad Vega, Jake Cramer, Ryan St. Pierre, Cameron Prohaska all went two for three.

Takada, Cramer for Prohaska provided the pitching that shut down the Bees.

Express 6, Muckdogs 4: Ryo Takada pitched 3 2/3 strong innings to lead the Express. Dylan Carter and Cameron Prohaska each had two hits, and James Carter and Noah Driscoll hit key doubles. Driscoll came in for a save in the sixth.

Minor B division

Mudcats 11, Thunder 10: The Mudcats rallied to win in the bottom of the sixth inning. The victory was a real team effort. Excellent defensive plays were made by Anthony Wilson, Julian Untalan, and Jonathan Feit. The offense was strong with key hits by Samual Williams, Ryan Green, Cole Minato and Daniel Williams.

Hooks 13, Naturals 7: The Hooks turned it on in the fifth inning to take the lead and win. Blake Beyett, Sean Staley, Spencer Stainbridge and Ben Quezada had clutch hits for the Hooks. Adding to the scoreboard with excellent base running were Jet Kelly and Peter Carlson. Key line-drive catches in the last two innings by Beyett and Jack Pelc held the Naturals to seven runs.

Farm division

Mustangs vs. Gauchos: For the Gauchos, Nate Skoheim hit a hard fly to left field for a double. Brother Nick, not to be outdone, hit a double in the third good for two RBIs and Porter Reynolds got his own double in the fourth, also good for two RBIs.

Sammy Mejia also had a double also good for two RBIs, Brendan Saraf had two singles for two RBIs as well. Pitcher Lucas Pantel fielded a high pop up in the first inning for an out, and in the second fielded a hard grounder and threw to first baseman Tristan Kennedy for an out. Kennedy made two additional outs in the third inning, with a force out at fourth and then tagged out the runner to second for another out. Also in the fourth inning, third baseman Reynolds beat the runner to third for a force out. In the fifth, he caught a fly ball and threw to first baseman Pantel for a double play.

Waves vs Gauchos: The Waves’ Aiden Daniels was involved in two triple plays, followed by teammate Eric Church, who had a hand in a double play.

Majors division

Rays 20, Dodgers 9: The Rays’ Tyler Murray hit a grand slam, his league-leading eighth home run of the season, to start a rally against the Dodgers that put the game out of reach. Murray went two for four with six RBIs, Tommy Blood went four for four with five RBIs, Coleman McGee had three hits and Kobie Anton, Murray, Ryan Smith and Connor Hays all had two.

Rays 4, Tigers 2: Tucker de Camp hit a three-run home run to help the Rays win. Ryan Smith pitched a complete game, scattering five hits with four strikeouts.

Diamondbacks 6, Cubs 4: Joey Paturzo won the game for the Diamondbacks, and Hank Skolnick was three for three.

Minor A division:

Angels 5, Yankees 1: Remington Balbaa hit a grand slam for the Angels.
