LOS ANGELES — Weston Nielsen and Dylan Davis had 15 kills each for the Sea Kings who lost in four in the nonleague match Saturday.

Loyola, ranked No. 1 in the nation by ESPN RISE, won, 20-25, 25-15, 25-20, 26-24. The Cubs are also ranked No. 1 in CIF Southern Section Division I.

CdM (19-7) is ranked No. 8 in Division I. Nielsen also had two blocks and four digs, while Davis added one block and two aces. Michael Ensign had eight digs, Danny Baker totaled five digs and two aces and Connor Bannan amassed 42 assists. Tyler Haly (five kills, one block) and Spencer Haly (four kills, one block) also helped the Sea Kings, who play host to Laguna Hills Tuesday.
