UCI Extension and OLLI Present “Can Law Change the Climate?”

University of California, Irvine Extension, along with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), join together to present “Can Law Change the Climate?” featuring Dr. Joe DiMento, UCI Professor in the school of social ecology, planning and policy design. Dr. DiMento will address legal actions taken in response to major changes across society on a global level. Topics will include the intersection between law, business and the greenhouse effect. The luncheon is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, April 29 at 11:15 a.m. on the UCI campus at the UClub McCulloch Library.

OLLI at UCI is a dynamic group of seasoned adults—both retired and semi-retired—who enjoy literature, history, science, the arts and travel. OLLI’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for mature adults by promoting intellectual growth and unique educational experiences in an environment of social interaction.
