Steve Choi shot 39 and James Chai shot 42 for Sage Hill (14-2, 9-0 in league), which plays against Whitney today at Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course.

ALISO VIEJO — The Eagles shared the Orange Coast League championship, as the Breakers won on the sixth player score by three strokes, 48-51, after a 204-204 tie at Aliso Viejo Country Club Wednesday.

Ryan Knapp shot even-par 35 to earn medalist honors, while Storm Hagen (38), Jake Knapp (39), Jordan Young (43) and Spencer Roberts (49) also scored for Estancia (13-5, 10-1 in league).

The OCL Championships begin Monday at Costa Mesa Country Club. The top 12 individuals advance to the finals Wednesday at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach.

NEWPORT BEACH — Camden Nichoslon shot one-over-par 36 for the Sea Kings in the nonleague match at Newport Beach Country Club Wednesday.

Mission Viejo’s Ryan Arzaga (35) was the medalist.

John Davenport carded a 37, while Mike Moorhead, Brian Mull and Ryan Grable all shot 38 for CdM (15-2), which plays today against San Juan Hills at San Juan Hills Country Club.

CORONA DEL MAR — Sarah Furgatch, Kelsey Larson and Heather Van Hiel won two events each and were on two winning relay teams for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

Furgatch won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 56.19 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.36. Larson touched first in the 200 individual medley (2:11.93) and the 100 backstroke (1:01.36). Van Hiel took first in the 50 free (26.24) and the 100 free (58.35).

Victoria Kennedy won the 500 free (5:55.15).

CORONA DEL MAR — Matt Berry won two events for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

He won the 50 freestyle in 22.40 and the 100 free in 48.67. John Kim won the 200 individual medley (1:57.17), Andrew Fisher won the 500 free (5:15.19), Jared Namba took first in the 100 backstroke (53.96) and Michael Liao won the 100 breaststroke (58.63).

Berry was on two winning relay teams, as were Namba, Liao and Kim.

CORONA DEL MAR — Blaine Bolus won three events for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

He won the long jump (20 feet, 4 3/4 inches), triple jump (43-4 1/2 ) and high jump (6-2).

Sebastien Welch won the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 6.9 seconds and a tight 1,600 in 4:40.7 against Daniel Ryan of Uni in 4:41.1.

Ken Cooper also doubled, winning the shot put with a 51-3 mark, a personal record, and the discus (154-11).

CdM went 1-2-3 in the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles. In the 110 hurdles it went: Jeff Jones (15.9), Alex Swigert (16.8) and Chris Burke (16.9). In the 300 hurdles: Swigert (41.2), Jones (41.6) and Chris Burke (44.3).

CORONA DEL MAR — Claire Schmidt won two events for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League meet Wednesday.

She won the 200 meters in 26.6 and the 400 in 59.7.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — The Lightning swept in doubles in the Academy League match Wednesday.

Kevin Wang and Troy Astorino won three sets each for Sage Hill (13-6, 5-2 in league), ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division IV.

CORONA DEL MAR — Senior Parker Rhodes and junior Matt Fisher improved to 32-1 as a doubles team, winning three sets, 7-5, 6-1, 6-0, in the nonleague match Wednesday.

In singles, Ryan Peyton and Shane Korber both won two out of three sets for the Sea Kings (15-3), ranked No. 7 in CIF Division I.

CdM plays host to top-ranked University today in the Sea Kings’ final regular-season match.

BASEBALL

ANAHEIM — Austin Wobrock went two for four with a run and a stolen base for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Wednesday.

Kyle Cablay was two for two with an RBI for Newport Harbor (7-12, 3-6 in league), which plays host to Esperanza Friday at 3 p.m.

Freshman Gabby Smith had a goal and an assist, while junior Maggie McElroy played well defensively for CdM (11-5, 6-2 in league).
