Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. has announced that William OHare, administrative partner of the firm’s Orange County office, has been named the recipient of the Orange County Bar Foundation’s Robert Samuel Barnes award.

The honor, known as the “Sammy,” is presented annually to the foundation member, or members, who have significantly contributed to the organization’s mission of serving the youth and families of Orange County. The award was named in honor of Robert Samuel Barnes, a long-time supporter and friend of the foundation, who contributed greatly to its program and causes.

According to Nancy Garcia, associate director of the foundation, OHare’s long-term commitment has played a key role in the program’s continued success in reaching out to Orange County’s at-risk youths. The foundation has been a leader in the field of juvenile crime diversion and citizenship education for 30 years, consistently providing positive results through education, counseling and mentoring.
