Rachael

The petite, kitten-like, 5-year-old calico named Rachael is the Community Animal Network’s most recent medical rescue. Rachael is a favorite because she never tires of rolling and stretching to have her tummy rubbed.

Rachael experienced an upper respiratory condition and may have some scarring in her nasal passages that cause noticeable breathing problems on occasion and a seasonal allergy-type stuffy nose. We are encouraging people to meet animals in the caregivers’ homes because we have fewer adoption cages now since Fashion Island has begun an enhancement project. We have three cages inside Russo’s that hold rescue animals and we have created a notebook with photos along with their pet summaries.
