Open registration coming

Costa Mesa’s oldest youth sports organization will be holding open, walk-up registration Saturday.

The Costa Mesa Eagles Pop Warner Football and Cheer organization has flag football, tackle football and cheer levels open.

The Pop Warner program will hold registration in front of the gym at Costa Mesa High, from 9 a.m. until noon

Free youth baseball clinic

The Estancia High baseball program will be conducting a free youth baseball clinic for all Costa Mesa residents Sunday at 10 a.m. at Estancia.

The current Estancia baseball players will coach and demonstrate different techniques and fundamentals on hitting, pitching, and fielding until noon for players ages 7-13.

There will be a BBQ lunch available after the clinic for everyone who attends and all proceeds will benefit the high school baseball program.
