Express 8, River Cats 7: The Express bats exploded to yield seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Leading the way for the Express hitting was James Carter, who went two for two with two doubles and five RBIs. Ryan St. Pierre went three for three with an RBI, while Jake Cramer and Cameron Prohaska added two hits each. Express pitcher Cramer struck out five in four innings pitched, and St. Pierre came on in relief

Knights 19, Bees 10: Noah Muta, Ethan Iles, Michael Primich, Joey Durbin, and Trevor Windisch all had booming doubles for the Knights. Chase Foreman, Ricky Masters and Jake Legg put the bat on the ball for key RBIs. Grinding out good at-bats were Michael Baker and Alex Headley. Every Knight scored a run.

Minor B division

Hooks 3, Aeros 2: The Aeros take the lead for the first two innings but the Hooks caught up by the fourth inning. Hooks catchers Ben Quezada and Chandler Forth held off the Aeros with three putouts at 2nd base. Ben Quezada had eight strikeouts. The Hooks came out swinging in the sixth inning with hits by Blake Beyett and Jacob Hathcock. Jack Pelc’s risky baserunning allowed Sean Moore to bring him with a RBI and take the lead. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Peter Carlson made a key catch at second base followed by a line-drive catch by third baseman Sean Moore, clinching the win for the Hooks.
