AREA 1

Crescent Bay: Victoria’s Secret sent a $363 bill to a resident who reported she had never opened an account with the company at 2:42 p.m. May 14.

North Coast Highway: A 24-year-old Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired at the city limits at 11:52 p.m. Saturday.

AREA 2

Woodland Drive: A Laguna Beach teenage passenger in a vehicle stopped for erratic driving was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances, possession for sales, transportation of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:56 p.m. May 15.

Canyon View Drive: A surfboard and two backpacks, valued at $450, were reported stolen from a parked truck at 10:25 p.m. Monday.

AREA 3

Park Avenue: Police are investigating, at the request of Child Protective Services, a mother’s claim that her daughter was inappropriately involved with a man in his 20s, reported in the 600 block at 2:14 p.m. May 15.

South Coast Highway: A small sculpture valued at $400 was reported stolen from Fong Imports in the 400 block at 12:51 p.m. Saturday.

Broadway: A backpack containing rainbow-colored sweaters, a purple notepad, a Sony radio and a lab report from Santa Ana, among other contents, was reported stolen at the bus depot at 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

Park Avenue: The theft of a GPS device from an unlocked vehicle was reported in the 900 block at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday.

AREA 4

Hawthorne Street: A woman reported that she had locked and set the alarm on her parked vehicle, but an iPod was reported missing and a door ajar when she returned to the vehicle, reported in the 400 block at 10:29 a.m. May 15.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: A former tenant left, allegedly taking the property owner’s piano, the landlady reported in the 1500 block at 10:26 p.m. Monday.

Glenneyre Street: A cell-phone charger and a computer were stolen from a vehicle in the 2100 block, reported at 11:01 a.m. Tuesday.

AREA 5

Coast Highway: A resident in the 30800 block reported that he had traded his vehicle for a flat-screen television, but found out that it was a rental when the rental company came calling to repossess the set, and was advised to call an attorney at 8:12 a.m. May 13.

10th Avenue: Jewelry valued at $51,000 was reported taken from an unlocked home at 11:03 a.m. May 14.

Coast Highway: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of battering his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend at the Montage Resort & Spa in the 30800 block at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday.
