Christ Lutheran boys shut out Mariners Christian

Daily Pilot Cup bronze division third- and fourth-grade game

The third grade boys from Christ Lutheran School were excited to compete in their first ever Daily Pilot Cup in the vronze division.

Chad Pavlik began the scoring with a crisp crossing shot. The defense was led by William Nomura with Conor Cochran, Dominic Petragila and Josh Griffith continually turning back the Mariners Christian offense and Alex Carpenter playing goal to perfection.

Liam Jason continued the scoring with a beautiful shot that found the corner of the net. Grant Harris and Chas Donnelly relentlessly pushed the ball toward the Mariners Christian goal, and the Mariners Christian defense thwarted every attack.

Andrew Bui was all over the field playing excellent on offense and defense. Luc Stuka preserved the shutout by making several saves in the second half and Christ Lutheran prevailed in a wel- played game by both teams.
