Police Files:

A Newport Beach woman called police Saturday reporting that sometime in the middle of the night someone had torn out a tree on her front lawn.

Police took it as a vandalism call and said it looked like someone drunk went to her house in the 3600 block of Seashore Drive between May 22 and May 23, uprooted her plumeria tree from her yard then vomited on the lawn.
