Three nude women take taxi to house

A caller said he watched three naked women leave a taxi in the 1800 block of Alabama Street of Huntington Beach at 7:16 p.m. Monday. The taxi driver took pictures of them, in the middle of street, before departing. The women walked toward a residence, where their friends took pictures of them. Police arrived on the scene and “advised the occupants about running nude in public.”

A woman called police at 11:31 a.m. Monday from the 19000 block of Dalehirst Circle in Huntington Beach to say her 40-year-old children changed the locks on her house and locked her outside. She told police she “used to be a millionaire and has lots of jewelry inside.” An officer determined that the woman moved out of the house a year ago, and told her that police could not force entry into the house for her.

AREA 1

Huntington Village Lane: A caller complained that people in a community pool had bottles and were “raising hell” in the 15500 block at 12:01 a.m. Monday.

Edinger Avenue: A vehicle was broken into in a parking structure in the 7700 block at 12:31 a.m. Monday.

Goldenwest Street: A caller said a man with a new BMW showed him a baggie and tried to sell him drugs in the 15400 block at 2:25 a.m. Monday.

Heil Avenue at Camino Canada Lane: Two juveniles threw water balloons in a caller’s vehicle; when the caller went to confront them, they threw more at her at 4:11 p.m. Monday.

Edinger Avenue: A caller went to a bank, forgetting it was a holiday, pulled on the door and the door opened in the 7700 block at 4:54 p.m. Monday. Police arrived at the bank to find all doors were secure; a cleaning crew may have been in the bank when the caller arrived there.

Lynn Street: A caller complained that a man and woman near a white sports car were both “passionately kissing and will never be stopping” in the 16600 block at 7:10 p.m. Monday.

Bryant Drive: A woman said her daughter stole her Chihuahua in the 8300 block at 7:24 p.m. Monday. The woman said her daughter also has two other dogs, which she also stole.

Jade Circle: A woman who was in the middle of a divorce called police after her husband moved her things out of her house, asking police if she can “get someone out here to kill him,” in the 6000 block at 8:43 p.m. Monday.

AREA 2

Apex Circle: Two pit bulls standing outside a building scared a caller who was afraid to go outside in the 17400 block at 3:50 a.m. Monday. The dogs eventually wandered away.

Turnberry Circle: A caller said his beer kegs, which were being stored in a refrigerator in the back yard, were stolen in the 6300 block at 2:57 p.m. Monday.

Central Park: A caller said he was choked by another man, who attempted to take his camera after he took pictures of the man’s sons for an art project at 4:12 p.m. Monday.

Warner Avenue: A man and a store clerk asked police to keep the peace when they argued over whether the man received the proper change after he bought alcohol in the 8000 block at 4:51 p.m. Monday.

Goldenwest Street at Rio Vista Drive: Juveniles were seen chasing a coyote through the park with sticks at 6:17 p.m. Monday.

AREA 3

Clay Avenue at Beach Boulevard: A man was detained after pulling and leaving a U-Haul trailer in the middle of the street as a prank at 12:04 a.m. Monday.

Lake Street: A man was arrested after trying to break into a caller’s patio in the 600 block at 5:35 a.m. Monday.

AREA 4

Adams Avenue: A man called 911 from a pay phone to complain that he bought three dollars of gas, but his van ran out of gas after a few blocks. When he was told to call the non-emergency line, he said he couldn’t, became irate and said he wanted his three dollars back in the 9000 block at 8:40 a.m. Monday.

Hyde Park Drive: A caller said someone stole recyclables from their trash in the 9000 block at 11:29 a.m. Monday.

Newland Street: A caller’s son-in-law pulled out a baseball bat and threatened to break windows in the 21800 block at 5:19 p.m. Monday. The man’s family was able to subdue him.

Sailors Bay Lane: A woman said she saw a strange man holding a children’s book asking her daughter and her friend’s daughter if they “live with their mommy and daddy” at a community pool in the 21100 block at 6:33 p.m. Monday. The man ran away.

Stingray Lane: A caller said about $6,400 in jewelry was stolen after her adult son had friends at the house over the weekend in the 19100 block at 7:44 p.m. Monday. She provided police with a list of the people who stayed over.

AREA 5

Brookhurst Street at Talbert Avenue: People were seen throwing objects at vehicles at 5:21 p.m. Monday.

Recreation Circle: Petty theft was reported from a skating center in the 9100 block at 5:27 p.m. Monday.

Brookhurst Street: A fight broke out in a grocery store in the 18500 block at 2 p.m. Sunday.

AREA 6

Kalama River Avenue: A shoplifter was taken into custody at an electronics store in the 10800 block at 3:05 p.m. Monday.

San Jacinto Street: Shots were heard from a residence in the 16400 block at 9:18 p.m. Sunday.
