Crawl over to Sutra

Sutra, one of Orange County’s premiere entertainment venues, kicks off its Acoustic Summer Concert Series at 8 p.m. Wednesday with the legendary alternative-rock-infused trio Hoobastank.

The California natives, best known for their Billboard chart hits that include “The Reason” and “Crawling in the Dark,” are in Orange County performing in anticipation of their next album release. Hoobastank’s fans will be treated to an exclusive, acoustic performance in an intimate venue.

Up-and-coming Los Angeles-based band the Halos will start off the evening with a set of melodic vocals and serene guitars. Sutra’s made dramatic changes over the last year as its metamorphosis from nightclub/restaurant to a stellar event spot with the addition of a new performance stage, state-of-the-art concert sound system with FOH, concert lighting, plasma screens, video projection and additional floor space.
