Private school partners with Environmental Nature Center

Waldorf School of Orange County has presented a $1,600 check to the Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach from the profits of the school’s first jog-a-thon. Waldorf School of Orange County students got off to a running start on Friday, May 15, racing, jogging or walking on the bluffs at Fairview Park while bringing awareness to the importance of nature preservation. Teachers, parents, and children lined the course in bright T-shirts in every color of the rainbow. WSOC students raised $18,500 in pledges from family members, neighbors, and friends to support their school and the ENC celebrating our stewardship of the earth.
