Assistance League of Newport-Mesa Names New Board

Assistance League of Newport-Mesa’s new Board of Directors for the 2009-2010 year. They include:

Lulu Wilson, President; Jill Money, Secretary; Marie-France Lefebvre, President-Elect; and Joanne Johnston, Treasurer. Not pictured is Ann Washington, Human Resources.

Assistance League of Newport-Mesa, a chapter of National Assistance League®, is a nonprofit, self-funded volunteer organization that benefits children and families through a variety of philanthropic programs including the Cheri Harris Children’s Dental Health Center, Operation School Bell®, Kids on the Block® and their Community Outreach Program. Founded in 1940, the organization supports their programs through proceeds from a year-round Thrift Shop and Treasures on Consignment Store, fundraising events and grants.
