Police name robber shot by own gun

Authorities identified Juzell Anthony Poole, of Costa Mesa, as the robber who was shot dead with his own gun during a failed robbery.

Poole, 24, was shot by his intended victim, who wrestled the gun from him. He collapsed and died on the street after attempting to flee the scene, police said.

Amy Schinzel, who also fled, was arrested in the area of Walnut and Cucamonga later that day.

His accused accomplice, Schinzel, has been booked on suspicion of murder and is being held on $1-million bail.
