Biker killed in Huntington Beach crash

A Sunset Beach man was killed Friday in Huntington Beach after a vehicle collided with his motorcycle on Edwards Street.

Mark Hampton Montgomery, 59, was riding his motorcycle westbound on Edwards at 5:20 p.m. when a gold four-door vehicle, traveling east on Garfield Avenue, made a northbound turn in front of Montgomery, police said in a release. Montgomery collided with the vehicle and was seriously injured. He died after being transported to a local hospital.
