Sage holds ‘The World of Whisky’ tasting

Please join Master of Whisky Ed “Dirt” Adams for “The World of Whisky” tasting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 16.

Guests will discover the many different flavors of whisky from around the world. Our journey begins in Ireland where we will enjoy Bushmills 10 year old Single Malt whisky, the most award winning whisky in Ireland. A short skip across the water to Scotland where we will enjoy Singleton 12 year a light and rich Speyside whisky and Lagavulin 16 a big bold peaty whisky from Islay.

Journey across the sea to America and sip on the worlds fastest growing Bourbon, Bulleit Bourbon, a straight small batch bourbon. Its unique high concentrate of rye gives it a great spice character and dry finish.

And finally head up north for Canada’s best whisky Crown Royal. We will taste Crown Royal Cask 16. A special blend of Crown Royal aged in Cognac barrels grown naturally in the Limosine forest in France. This special whisky combines the expert blending of a Canadian whisky with the rich flavors of Cognac that come from the double maturation.

Appetizers will be served along with all of these great whiskies.
