My Favorite Rescue Dog

When we were introduced to Darby by her foster mom , Darby had never had her own toy to play with, was afraid of the dark and would only wag the tip of her tail . She was very timid with fear but her untarnished soul came shining through her amazing brown eyes when she dared to look at us. Today, Darby has a family that loves her and she has thrived through the last five years with long walks , belly rubs, hugs, kisses ,yummy food and a cupboard of gourmet treats.

If anyone is considering opening their heart and home to a pet, I would ask them to please consider a rescue animal. They are so grateful to have a family to love them. Darby is an incredible being, I just wish she liked having her photo taken ! I was lucky to get this one .
