Cory D. Wanamaker

Cory Wanamaker passed away July 7,

2009 after a long courageous battle with

Lymphoma / Leukemia. Born in Miami,

Florida, September 28, 1956, she came

to California over 30 years ago and

became a long time Costa Mesa resident.

Cory was a graduate of Cal State Long

Beach. Cory worked primarily in the real estate field as a

marketing executive before retiring to her preferred job

of mother. She spent many volunteer hours at the Kaiser

Schools and Newport Harbor High as well as donating her

time and energy to many charity and volunteer endeavors.

Cory’s husband Michael and two children, Madison and

Evan wish to thank all family and friends for the support

that has been shown to the family over the years and most

recent months during this difficult and long struggle.

A memorial celebration will be held at the Balboa Yacht

Club, Thursday, July 16th from 1:30 until 5 pm. Cory

expressly wished for no flowers to be sent. Donations can be
