Police identify man killed in crash

Police have identified a man killed early Friday morning in a traffic collision in Huntington Beach.

Resident Michael Richard Berry, 61, was driving a red 1989 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck westbound on Garfield at 5:12 a.m., when he collided with a blue 1996 Audi A4 at Main Street.

Berry was treated at the scene, then transported to Huntington Beach Hospital, where he died. Police said the Audi driver, 24-year-old Thomas Taylor of Tucson, Ariz., suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital; no charges have been filed at this time.
