Wells Fargo in Costa Mesa robbed again
The Wells Fargo bank at Baker Street and Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa has been robbed for the second time in less than a month, authorities said Wednesday.
About 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, a man approached a teller and passed them a note ordering them to hand over money, said Sgt. Bryan Glass. The man did not threaten the teller with a gun and no one saw a weapon, he added.
The teller handed over crash from their drawer and the robber escaped, police said.
No one was injured. The same bank was robbed July 18.
FBI officials are investigating whether the two robberies are linked.
