Local man named management guru
Des Colleran of Newport Beach has been appointed as the new president of the Southern California Chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management.
He is a longtime member of the society, and a director on its international board of directors.
Colleran, who has lived in Southern California for more than 40 years, is a business development and management consultant and serves as senior consultant with Quest Career Marketing in Newport Beach.
His past career includes positions in international management consulting, education and the nonprofit sector.
