Forum to provide free legal services

A legal fair today in Costa Mesa will offer free, anonymous legal advice to anyone interested.

The forum is sponsored by a few local nonprofits — Harbor Trinity Church, MIKA Community Development Corp. and Saddleback Church — as a way for people who might not be able to afford legal counsel to learn their rights.

Those in attendance can ask questions about how to negotiate a bankruptcy, file a workers compensation claim and solve problems related to immigration and citizenship rights, among other things.

Crafts, face painting and a bounce house will be on hand to entertain children.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Harbor Trinity Church, 1230 Baker St.
