Mark Todd led the Corona del Mar High boys’ lacrosse team to the big game in Orange County last year.

Todd now plans to guide his young twin sons on the field and concentrate on his real estate career.

Todd has decided to step down at CdM after leading the Sea Kings to the U.S. Lacrosse Southern Section Orange County Championship game in his seventh season.

Todd turned CdM into one of the quality programs in the county and state, perennially ranked by LaxPower.com in the top 10. The Sea Kings won the Pacific Coast League crown.

The Sea Kings lost to Foothill 10-8, in the title game, ending the season at 20-2. One of the major accomplishments under Todd, besides reaching the championship game, was CdM beating Foothill in a regular-season nonleague game.

The victory was the Sea Kings’ first against the Knights in six years.
