Employees of Costa Mesa-based Experian and members of their families recently spent a Saturday amid nine incredible playhouses and one amazing doghouse at HomeAid Orange County’s 18th Annual Project Playhouse fundraiser at the Irvine Spectrum Center.

The group volunteered their time and energy to help members of the public get up close and personal with the unique playhouses that will continue to be on display until Sept. 12. On the weekends, for a $5 donation per person, visitors can view the house interiors through playhouse Dutch doors. The six-week-long event culminates in the live public auction of the buildings at Irvine Spectrum Center on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Experian volunteers included Barbara Stroud, Marryn Santucci, Tricia Johz and her daughter Zoey, plus Khanh Nguyen, his wife and three daughters, along with Hasum Jacob Thenumgal, Mary Kreusel and Mary’s daughter Kimberly.

Through its Heart of Experian program, the company demonstrates its deep commitment to making an important difference in each of the communities in which it operates and lives. By fostering lasting relationships with local organizations, funding local initiatives and providing community support, the company is able to champion a number of important causes while simultaneously promoting a strong culture of caring from within.

Project Playhouse debuted in 1992 and has become HomeAid Orange County’s signature fundraiser. For 18 years, dedicated homebuilders, trades, architects and designers have donated their talents and resources to create these whimsical playhouses. The unique event has raised more than $5 million to help the 20-year old non-profit organization build 44 housing developments, which were gifted to 25 service providers who provide aid and shelter to

homeless men, women and children.
