Costa Mesa police search for prowler

Police released a composite sketch Thursday of a man who was peeping inside a Costa Mesa woman’s window one morning last week.

Authorities described the man as a 30- to 35-year-old Latino with almond-shaped eyes and straight black hair. Police said he was peeping inside the woman’s home at 845 W. Paularino Ave. about 7:15 a.m. Sept. 2.

The woman heard a sound outside her window and when she went to look, saw the man appear from the lower left, police said. The man immediately ran away. If anyone has any information, call Det. Dana Potts at (714) 754-5363.
