Area 1

Allview Terrace: An attempted break-in at a home was reported in the 600 block at 1:13 p.m. Sunday.

Aster Street: A wallet containing $15 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block at 11:54 a.m. Sept. 2.

Cerritos Drive: A $900 guitar was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1400 block at 11:58 a.m. Sunday.

Cliff Drive: A man was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and possession of a shopping cart in the 500 block at 10:14 a.m. Sept. 3.

Cliff Drive: A $2,200 laptop was reported stolen in the 500 block at 1:02 p.m. Sept. 3.

Irvine Cove Drive: A drill, valued at $550, was reported stolen in the 100 block at 8:29 a.m. Sept. 3.

North Coast Highway: A Corona del Mar resident was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being stopped for speed-racing at Irvine Cove at 2:17 a.m. Sept. 4.

Area 2

Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after weaving and hitting the curb at Canyon Acres Drive at 10:22 p.m. Sept. 2.

Laguna Canyon Road: A fight among attendees of a wedding reception resulted in one person going to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach and an arrest in the 800 block at 11:15 p.m. Sept. 4.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Sana Ana man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being stopped for erratic driving at Canyon Acres Drive at 1:36 a.m. Sunday.

Area 3

Broadway: A Yorba Linda man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 400 block at 2:18 a.m. Saturday.

Forest Avenue: A homeless man was issued a citation for possessing a hypodermic needle in an underground parking area in the 300 block at 5:25 p.m. Sept. 2.

Goff Street: A tire was reported slashed, a $100 loss, in the 500 block at 12:18 p.m. Saturday.

Ocean Avenue: A man and a woman were issued citations for battery after a fight with a third person at South Coast Highway at 4:50 p.m. Sept. 2.

Ocean Avenue: Paint supplies were reported stolen from an art store in the 300 block at 9:59 a.m. Sept. 3.

Park Avenue: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic collision at Third Street at 10:04 p.m. Sunday.

St. Ann’s Beach: Keys, sunglasses and shoes were reported stolen from the beach while the owners were in the water at 9:05 a.m. Sept. 3.

South Coast Highway: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 500 block at 7:20 a.m. Sept. 1.

South Coast Highway: A watch and two rings, valued at $27,000, were reported stolen from a hotel room in the 400 block at 11:21 a.m. Sept. 1.

South Coast Highway: A Dana Point man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 1400 block at 11:52 p.m. Sept. 4.

South Coast Highway: A man who was yelling for help in the ocean was located in the 2000 block of the beach at 3:20 a.m. Saturday.

Area 4

Agate Street: A San Francisco man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop in the 200 block at 2:02 a.m. Sunday.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: A Huntington Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 4:33 a.m. Sunday.

Ocean Way: Trees were reported “butchered” by a neighbor in the 1900 block at 2:23 p.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A fake $100 bill was reported at a store in the 1200 block at 4:31 p.m. Sept. 2.

South Coast Highway: A Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Bluebird Canyon Drive at 4:22 a.m. Sept. 4.

South Coast Highway: A purse, valued at $750, was reported stolen from the beach in the 1200 block at 10:19 a.m. Sept. 4.

South Coast Highway: Jewelry valued at $200 was reported stolen from a hotel room in the 1600 block at 9:19 p.m. Sept. 4.

Upland Road: A Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at South Coast Highway at 1:50 a.m. Sunday.

Bay Drive: A Monarch Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 00 block at 5:24 p.m. Sunday.

Coast Highway: An emblem worth $25 was reported stolen from the trunk of a vehicle in the 31000 block at 9:02 a.m. Sept. 3.

Coast Highway: A vehicle burglary with a $600 loss was reported in the 30000 block at 7:52 p.m. Sept. 3.

Monterey Street: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 31000 block at 6:40 a.m. Sunday.

S. Stonington Road: A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 0 block at 9:27 a.m. Sept. 3.

S. Stonington Road: A vehicle burglary with a $700 loss was reported in the 0 block at 1:26 p.m. Sept. 3.

Vista de Catalina: Two wallets, valued at $400, were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 00 block at 6:55 a.m. Sept. 3.

Vista de Catalina: A $250 theft was reported in the 00 block at 7:25 a.m. Sept. 3.

Wesley Drive: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 21000 block at 3:33 a.m. Saturday.

West Street: A 42-year-old woman who tripped in a hole while jogging at Coast Highway was transported for treatment at 5:40 a.m. Saturday.
