Man dies Sunday after bicycling accident

A Huntington Beach man died Sunday at Long Beach Memorial Hospital after an apparent traffic collision Saturday afternoon.

Kevin J. Petrimoulx, 67, was found alongside his bicycle near Warner Avenue on Greentree Lane by the Huntington Beach Police Department after a passing motorist saw him and called the authorities.

Petrimoulx suffered head injuries after falling off the bike. He was not wearing a helmet, Lt. Russ Reinhart said.

“We are not sure what he collided with and there are no witnesses,” Reinhart said.

The police are still investigating the incident and are looking for witnesses.
